2nd Grade Classes / Bio Koppelman

My name is David Koppelman, and I am a second grade teacher at Tuckahoe. I have spent my entire 21-year teaching career at Tuckahoe. I am married to my wonderful wife, Katie, and I have two incredible daughters, Grace and Emma, both graduates of Tuckahoe. I attended undergraduate and graduate school at the University of Virginia, so I am a Wahoo through and through. I am also a native New Yorker, so I believe the Yankees and Giants will win the World Series and Super Bowl every single year. In my spare time, I enjoy playing and coaching many sports. I encourage all students to try new things and to not be afraid to fail. I learn something new every single day at Tuckahoe, and I am proud to be a member of the Tuckahoe Community.
