Hinged Knee Skin™ Application Instructions

 

Bio Skin® should be applied to dry skin. Oils, lotions and perspiration will make the support harder to put on and will make it will feel as if it's sized too small. Dry the area of application before applying support. Take the support with both hands and stretch the top and bottom of the support two to three times. This helps to relax the material before its gets broken-in.

1. Before applying, insert desired buttress "O" or "U" into support. Always loosen straps when applying or removing brace.

2. Start from a sitting position when applying the knee support. Pull the entire support past the heel, then from a standing position using both hands and with a firm grip pull and center the support over the patella. After a few minutes of wear, the brace will conform to the leg. Use finger tabs to pull support up to the knee.

3. Position buttress around patella and secure straps.

NOTE: Hinges may be removed to bend the hinge to the shape of the leg for a better fit
