No shows and last-minute cancellations are charged in. Each Discovery Tour starts at Touvelle State Park where the first 1 hr 15 minutes on the river is spent exploring upriver, with the rived point being Rattlesnake rapids below Dodge Bridge.

I felt comfortable and safe the whole trip. We went on the brunch excursion. The lodge is beautiful and the food was amazing.

Not adherent to Covid mask guidelines. They have lots of signage about distancing and masks and the employees were compliant. They have put up plastic barriers between the rows on the boat. All good efforts that we appreciated. So with that we decided to purchase tickets. I understand being outside, especially with the wind of the excursion, is very low risk but there is still clearly no way to social distance. It was very off putting and disappointing to see such selfish behavior from fellow citizens when wearing a mask is seriously not a big deal.

The boat experience is awesome, and the river is beautiful. We had a great time. One thing that was off putting was that there were signs all around the establishment that masks were required. Most people on our boat were wearing them, but when the boat operator was giving the instructions about the ride, he kind of made a joke about how "they make me say this, but masks are required so we can stay in business, so please if you will, wear one" There were a few people on the boat that flat out refused to wear one.
If they are required, those people should have been asked to leave the boat but they weren't. The staff made it seem more like a joke, than state mandated requirement. That was a huge turn off for me.
