The importance of molding

Molding completes the look of a space and demonstrates your talent as a designer. Whether you need a single piece of crown molding

or a multi-stack arrangement, KraftMaid Cabinetry has what you need to create a signature look.

Under-cabinet molding

Not only does it add a beautiful finishing touch to the bottom

edge of wall cabinets, it’s also a great way to easily conceal

under-cabinet lighting.

Above-cabinet molding

It adds decorative detail to the top edge of wall cabinets to

personalize the look of the space.

Remember to consider the size of the room and the cabinetry in

it when designing stacked molding. A large room with stacked

cabinetry can comfortably accommodate a larger molding stack

without overwhelming the space.

Remember that if you’re designing a tall crown molding stack,

you can order many of our cabinets with an extra wide top rail.

It provides a great base to apply molding, plus it provides your

customer with more usable storage space inside the cabinets.
