Reflections
The National PTA Reflections art contest is an exciting opportunity for students to stretch their artistic wings. All participants are honored at special assembly and recognized again at the end of year assembly.
This year's theme is....
LET YOUR IMAGINATION FLY...
...and should be reflected in the student submission. There are six arts categories – dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts as well as a special Artist division. All Tuckahoe students PK-5 are encouraged to submit art!
Specific rules and submission forms are available online and in the front office. All entries must be titled and accompanied by the entry form, and should be dropped off in the Reflections box in the front office! Submission deadline is October 16.
What is the Reflections Program?
In its more than 40-year history, the Reflections program has encouraged millions of students across the nation and in American schools overseas to explore their artistic talents. The program offers students the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. Students in preschool through grade 12 are encouraged to submit works of art in six arts areas:
- Dance choreography
- Film production
- Literature
- Musical composition
- Photography
- Visual arts
