Subdivision Offset Face

The Offset Face operation results in a new face that is parallel to the picked face. Once the picked face has been offset by a predefined distance, an interactive widget control can be modified to determine the final offset distance and depth. These values can also be numerically entered in the Tool Options palette.

Distance: This determines the magnitude of the value that the offset face is inset/or offset by.

Depth: This determines the magnitude of the value that the offset face is raised or lowered by.
