12 Winners in Grand Concours

The French teachers received word that 12 students earned prizes for achievement in the 81^stGrand Concours (National French Contest) sponsored by the American Association Teachers of French.  This is a challenging exam which tests reading, listening, and grammar skills in French. Nearly 86,000 students participated in the U.S. and Puerto Rico this year.  The followingwinners in French 1, 2, 3, 4, and AP Language and Culture will each receive a National Lauréat Certificate.  Bronze (75^th and 80^th percentiles):  Luis Cabrera Hernandez (Fr2), Leo Rosas Tapia (Fr2), Jillian Lopez (Fr3). Mention d’honneur (50^th – 70^thpercentile): Flavia Dominguez Pinto (Fr1), Ileana Mendez Espinoza (Fr2), John Oyola (Fr2), Logan Harms (Fr3),Lente Huiskens (Fr3), Antonia Kotliarov (Fr3), Valencia Parker (Fr3),  Sirena Wigfall (Fr4), Kaleb Boswinkle (AP).
