Sixth Grade Transitional Spanish

This course is designed as the Sixth grade sequence to the Foreign Language Elementary School (FLES) Spanish language program. 

Who should consider this course?

1) Rising Sixth grade FLES students who wish to continue Spanish language studies begun in elementary school and whose reading performance is on grade level.

2) Non-FLES students who meet entry level proficiency in Spanish, have met SOL reading standards and are recommended by teacher.

This course is a semester-long and each middle school chooses whether the class will meet for an entire semester at a time or every other day throughout the year.
